If only we knew what was so funny. Loot is a hoot. And a painful reminder of the collapse of the comic caper in Bollywood in a heap of inadequacy. The writing reaches a stalemate even before the actors warm up to their roles. And then it's downhill all the way.
Azaan takes the action genre in this country to a new level of finesse and restraint. The script is layered, though not quite free of inconsistencies and of questionable moral and political tenets as it would like us to believe. Azaan is not a film which wastes time in self-congratulation after staging one more terrorist explosion. It moves on relentlessly. The world has to be saved. Self-importance is miraculously averted.
Soundtrack gets it right. In telling the story of a man who stops hearing the world outside to finally start hearing his own inner voice, the film's strong sense of drama and redemption are comparable with the cinema of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Soundtrack is a soul-stirring tale of a musician's voyage into deafening hedonism and a quiet redemption.
The film is carpeted with dreadfully unfunny jokes that insult every community including, of course, the movie-going community which is expected to laugh at a scene where Sanjay Dutt puts on an unconscious woman's underwear on and wonders: "Why is it so much easier to take off a woman's clothes than put it on?" Really, Mr. Sanjay Chhel, what were you thinking when you wrote such embarrassing lines taken straight from the wall of a private toilet?
Cycle Kick is not quite the kick-in-the-groin take on the non-urban youth's aspirations that Iqbal so successfully happened to be. But it has its heart in the right place. And it doesn't puts its foot in its mouth.
The urban youth may understand the story to some extent but those who stay in villages and towns, especially the mass audiences can’t understand the concept totally and they would be in sheer confusion. Watch the film only for Ram Charan's new look and acting.
Siddharth’s performance is impressive in the film. The character with village backdrop suited him very well. His combination scenes with Rajendra Prasad are worth watching. Pranitha has done her best to give a decent performance. She looked good at parts.
When a director wanted to make a film, he should keep a point in mind. He must have complete grip on the subject and script. Bad Luck, Siddhartha kept high hopes on the film and all his hopes and dreams have been shattered.
You can watch the film with a family because of the entertainment values. Dil Raju is once again back on track. Vamsi Paidipalli has brought a smile on his face with his wholesome entertainer. The most interesting point is that the film starts with the song ‘Brinadaavanamadi…’ in colour and it is quite interesting to watch.
The first half an hour of the second half is little boring as the director lost grip on the screenplay. Audiences loses their patience. But, Trivikram has tried to invoke the action drama to capture the attention of mass audiences. Action scenes in the film are quite stylish. Watch the film for Mahesh Babu’s performance and the witty dialogues by Trivikram.
With all the hype created about the film, which took almost two years to complete the project and with a whooping budget of Rs 180 crores, doubts were raised whether the film could withstand the pressure of hype. However,It has all the qualities of science, fiction, love and emotions, which could make the film a blockbuster.
Movie starts of well good action, comedy sequence and interval bang makes K.Puli 1st half rock. A good hype is generated in 1st half gets destroyed in 2nd half.Movie Reduces its pace. But 2nd Half looks Good in last 30-35 minutes.Overall Komram Puli an Above Average Product from Singamala Ramesh finally Pavan Fans will Love it.
The director and producer should be complimented for portraying the present political situation on the screen perfectly and the audiences would definitely equate Kota’s character with KCR in several scenes. Though the action scenes in the film are okay, it is just not known what the director exactly wanted to tell the audiences with this film.
n a nuttshell, the Don Seenu is a typical Ravi Teja film as it has all the ingredients that the audiences expect from Ravi Teja’s film. Can be watched once for the energetic performance of Ravi Teja, Shreya’s glamour, witty dialogues by Kona Venkat and impressive narration.
