Aisha is sure to open eyes to the talent of its leading lady Sonam Kapoor, who gives face, form and expression to Aisha. The film is supported by a talented cast. Also, one of the delights of the film is the cleverly written supporting roles. Aisha holds appeal for the youth mainly and there's a strong likelihood that this segment of movie-going audience will fall for its charms.
Beautifully shot and packaged with a fabulous soundtrack and superlative ensemble cast, Aisha, quite often, gets caught up in a self-created tangle of brand-led vanity to ever let one get acquainted to its leading lady.
You just know it when a film entirely set around a girl – a chick flick, as they say -- isn’t quite working for you. This is when a guy, an odd comedian Cyrus Sahukar, comes across as by far the most entertaining fellow around. Now he’s funny. For whatever that’s worth.
